About Wild Card Rodeo Company

Tom Reeves, a native of South Dakota, became a member of the PRCA in 1982. An 18 time consecutive qualifier for the Wrangler NFR in Las Vegas Nevada, in 2001 also became the Wrangler NFR World Champion Saddle Bronc Rider he set out to be growing up working on his familys ranch in Eagle Butte.

Tom
s passion for bucking horses and love for the sport of rodeo is largely credited to his mother Emma Lu and father, the late Dean Reeves, as being the inspiration for pursuing a career in rodeo and for his knowledge of livestock. Rodeo isn't just a way to make a living for Tom, but a way of life.  Inducted into the Pro Rodeo Hall of Fame in July of 2008 was an ultimate honor for Tom.

In 2003, Tom Reeves founded Wild Card Rodeo Roughstock, Inc.  Wild Card Rodeo operates an award-winning, highly respected Remuda.  Its bucking horse breeding program is going strong to ensure that each year Wild Card Rodeo features the healthiest, most athletic horses on the circuit.

Reeves has partnered with several individuals whose livestock strengthens the stock base on which Wild Card Rodeo was founded.  Partners Scean Deal from Cherry Creek, SD, who joined Wild Card Rodeo in 2004, and Don Reno from Haskell, OK, who joined in 2008, breed and raise bucking horses.   Mark Owen joined Wild Card Rodeo in 2008 adding to WCR his bucking horses and bulls he breeds and raises. Mark is out of Oologah, Oklahoma and has worked at every level of rodeo, beginning as a contestant from 1986 to 2000. Partners Pat Halverson and Jesse Bail breed and raise bulls adding to the Wild Card Rodeo string.  Bail, Reeves first partner, from Camp Crook, SD, partnered with Reeves in 2003.  Halverson, from Friona, TX, joined Wild Card Rodeo in 2008. He also manages Texzona Feedlot in Friona, Texas.  Alongside of Pat, is son Jake Halverson who also breeds and raises bulls adding to the WCR string.

Along with an explosion of quality family entertainment, Wild Card Rodeo delivers an exceptional PRCA rodeo every time.
